What most people have noticed with both store-bought pain patches for upper back, and those that you can get from a doctor, is that it requires you to apply pressure over the area for at least 15 seconds. This will give the adhesive time to adhere to your skin, and without doing so, it’s likely going to fall off every time. If this continues to happen, however, you will need to contact your doctor about the problem and they should resolve it by providing you with either a different prescription, or you could go to the pharmacy where you pick these up to get something that is a replacement.
Is This A Common Problem?
This is not a problem for most people. However, it does occur. If applying extra pressure for an extended period of time does not fix the problem, you may have to get medical tape that can be applied over the top of the pain patch to keep it in place. If that does not work, you will simply have to talk to your physician about other options that may be available such as getting larger pain patches that will give you more surface area.
